From 19 October 2018 to 3 March 2019, Museum Prinsenhof Delft will put Dutch history in the spotlight with the Willem van Oranje exhibition!
Exactly 450 years ago the Eighty Years’ War began. A few years later Willem van Oranje flees to the securely walled Delft to stay out of the hands of the Spanish ruler. From Delft he led the uprising and laid the foundation for the Netherlands today. With this exhibition, the museum presents a grand show and brings an important episode in Dutch history to life where it all took place: the ancient Prinsenhof.
